Truck plunges off bridge, driver killed

A truck driver died on Tuesday morning after his vehicle plunged off a bridge in ward 5 of Shambhunath Municipality of Saptari district.
The 12-wheeler, loaded with clinker, veered off the Mohanpur bridge along the East-West Highway and fell about 20 metres.
The driver, a 25-year-old man from Morang, was killed on the spot.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
