Two motorcycle-borne men reportedly looted Rs 1.5 million from a person who owns a money transfer (remittance agency) in ward 8 of Siraha Municipality on Sunday.
According to the District Police Office in Siraha, the assailants looted Kusheshwar Yadav, the owner of Shiva Money Transfer by brandishing a pistol.
The robbers used a motorcycle with an Indian registration number in the crime.
“A search is underway to nab the robbers,” said Deputy Superintendent of Police Muktinath Sapkota.
