Two dead in road accident in Jhapa

Two people lost their lives in a motorcycle accident in Jhapa on Saturday night. The bike heading from Kerkha to Damak met with an accident on the East-West Highway at Amaldangi of Kamal Rural Municipality-4, according to the District Police Office, Jhapa.
The victims have been identified as 33-year-old Anil Kumar Limbu and 20-year-old Somraj Limbu, both residents of Shivasatakshi Municipality-8. Both sustained severe injuries in the crash and were immediately rushed to Damak Hospital for treatment.
However, the hospital declared both of them dead upon arrival.
According to the police, the crash was caused by excessive speed.
