Surya Tamang of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Udayapur-2.
Tamang secured 14,802 votes in the constituency.
His nearest rival, Ambar Rayamajhi of the CPN-UML, received 7,648 votes.
