The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has appointed Gyan Bahadur Shahi as its parliamentary party (PP) leader and Khushbu Oli as chief whip.
Oli told the Post that a parliamentary party meeting, held in the presence of party chair Rajendra Lingden, decided to assign the leadership roles to her and Shahi.
The meeting unanimously endorsed both the parliamentary party leader and the chief whip.
In the House of Representatives elections, the RPP secured one seat under the first-past-the-post system and four seats under the proportional representation system. Shahi was elected to the House from the Jumla constituency.
