Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) chair Rabi Lamichhane has been elected to the House of Representatives from Chitwan-2 with a wide margin.
Lamichhane secured 54,402 votes, while his nearest rival, Mina Kumari Kharel of the Nepali Congress, received 14,564 votes.
CPN-UML candidate Asmin Ghimire came third with 6,992 votes in the constituency.
