Kathmandu
Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has taken a strong lead in Kathmandu constituency number 8 as vote counting continues.
Out of 11,552 votes counted so far, Shrestha has secured 7,617 votes.
Nepali Congress candidate Sapana Rajbhandari has received 890 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Suman Sayami has secured 847 votes.
Similarly, Nepal Communist Party candidate Rajesh Shakya has received 544 votes.
Vote counting is ongoing.
