Journalist and Radio Audio FM owner Dipendra Khaniya was found dead on Sunday at a residence in Baneshwar, Kathmandu, police confirmed.
Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Bhattarai of the District Police Office, Kathmandu, said that Khaniya was discovered hanging from an electric wire on the fourth floor railing of a five-storey building owned by Rishikesh Bhatta. His body has been sent to TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, for post-mortem examination.
SP Bhattarai said Khaniya had recently sold the house to Bhatta and was living on rent on the fourth floor of the same house.
Police have begun a detailed investigation.
