Gen Z protest death toll climbs to 30, more than 1,000 injured
According to data released on Wednesday evening, 713 injured have already been discharged from hospitals, while 55 patients were referred to other facilities and 253 were newly admitted.

The Health Ministry has confirmed that 30 people have died and 1,033 others sustained injuries during the Gen Z-led protests on Monday and Tuesday.

A total of 436 protesters sought treatment at Civil Service Hospital after Monday’s mayhem, the highest number, followed by the National Trauma Centre with 161 and Everest Hospital with 109, the Health Ministry said.
Treatment of the injured is ongoing at 28 hospitals around the country. The ministry said emergency services are being mobilised to handle the influx of patients and urged hospitals to remain on high alert.
