Switzerland’s Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday evening on a three-day official visit to Nepal.
Ganesh Prasad Dhakal, joint secretary and Head of the Europe Division at Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other officials welcomed him to Tribhuvan International Airport.
Cassis is leading a high-level delegation and is expected to hold talks with senior Nepali leaders and government officials during his stay.
The visit aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in development, climate resilience, and economic partnership, officials said.
