Post Report
The National Examinations Board (NEB) is preparing to publish the Secondary Education Examinations (SEE) 2081 results next week.
The board has announced that results will be accessible through websites, SMS, and IVR services. In a notice, the board said it has authorised various government and private institutions to disseminate the results through multiple platforms.
The results will be available also at https://results.ekantipur.com once published.
A total of 514,017 students appeared for this year’s SEE, an increase of 49,286 from last year. According to the board, the exams were conducted at 2,080 centres across the country—including prisons in Kathmandu and Dailekh, and a juvenile correction home in Bhaktapur. One centre was also set up at a Nepali school in Japan.
Students from 11,216 schools—both public and private—participated in the examinations, with 257,730 girls, 256,311 boys, and 30 students from the other category.
As per the letter grading system, students must secure at least 35 percent in the theoretical exams to qualify for higher studies. Those who fail to do so will be categorised as non-graded and will not be eligible for enrolment in Grade 11.
Last year, of the 464,785 students who sat for the SEE, 222,472 (47.86 percent) secured grades and qualified for further studies, while 242,313 students (52.14 percent) fell under the non-graded category.
