Bodies of Nepali woman and Indian man found in Budhanilkantha
Police have launched an investigation into the suspicious deaths discovered in a rented home in Kathmandu on Friday night.Post Report
Two people were found dead inside a room of a house in Budhanilkantha Municipality-4, Pasikot, Kathmandu, on Friday night.
According to police, the bodies were discovered at around 9:40 pm within the compound of Three Star Kids Zone School.
Spokesperson for the Kathmandu District Police Range, Superintendent of Police Apilraj Bohora, stated that the house had been rented by 54-year-old Param Narayan Gill, a resident of Chandigarh, Punjab, India. The deceased have been identified as Gill and 28-year-old Anjana Tamang of Galchhi-6, Dhading. Tamang had been working and living in the same house.
Police said Tamang was found dead on a sofa with a head injury, while Gill’s body was found on the floor of the room without any visible external injuries.
A metal hammer and a packet labelled 'Celphos'—a toxic substance—were found near the scene, police confirmed.
Given the suspicious nature of the deaths, SP Bohora said a detailed investigation is currently underway.
