Kadariya elected ANNFSU chair
Sujan Kadariya defeated his competitor Santosh Paudel by seven votes.

Sujan Kadariya has been elected chairman of All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), the student wing of the CPN-UML.
He got the student organisation’s top position defeating his rival Prakash Paudel by 7 votes in an election held in Kathmandu on Thursday.
Kadariya, who was secretary in the previous central committee of the union, secured 732 votes while Paudel garnered 725, according to a press note issued by the election committee after the election.
The ANNFSU got the leadership from a younger generation after the organisation introduced a 32-year age limit as the eligibility to contest the top position.
Several other aspirants had to exit the race to lead the organisation due to the age bar.
Bikas Shrestha and Anjana Siwakoti have been elected vice-chairs; Dipak Dhami general secretary and Kamal Joshi deputy general secretary. Likewise, Akash Gharti Magar, Rachana Sapkota, Samimbabu Khan and Gopal Nepal have won secretary positions.
