The Janamat Party has recalled two of its ministers from the Madhesh provincial government, party leaders said on Thursday.
Minister for Industry and Tourism Sakil Miya Ansari and Minister for Forests and Environment Tribhuwan Sah have been relieved of their duties following an internal performance evaluation, according to party spokesperson Sharad Singh Yadav.
Both ministers had served in the provincial cabinet for the past year. The decision is part of a routine reshuffle in line with the party’s policy of periodic review and renewal.
Former minister for Land Management and Agriculture Cooperatives Basanta Kushwaha and former state minister Sanjay Yadav are reportedly being considered for new ministerial roles.
