NEPSE index and trading volume fall on Tuesday

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 3.44 points on Tuesday, closing at 2,666.61 points, reflecting a 0.12 percent decrease from the previous trading day.
On the day, share prices of 121 companies fell, while 123 companies saw their prices rise. Despite the overall decline in the index, there were some gains in certain sectors.
In total, there were 53,492 transactions, involving 10.64 million shares. The total trading volume amounted to Rs5.31 billion, a decrease compared to the previous day’s figures.
Among the 13 subgroups, the indices of finance companies, production and processing, life insurance, and trade sectors saw an increase. However, the remaining subgroups experienced declines in their indices.
