Two people, injured in a jeep accident in Malarani Rural Municipality-4, in Arghakhanchi, died on Sunday. Four passengers were injured in the accident on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old driver Dilip Khanal and 21-year-old Balakrishna Rijal, both from Malarani-4. According to the police, they succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at Arghakhanchi Hospital this morning.
Seventeen-year-old Basanta Pokhrel and 17-year-old Bhuwan Pokhrel, also injured in the accident, have been referred to hospitals in Butwal for further treatment, police inspector Bishnu Prasad Paudel said.
