Chief Justice Raut embarks on a five-day visit to India
He visits the neighbouring country at the invitation from Indian Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna.

Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut left for a five-day visit to India on Sunday at the invitation of Indian Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna.
According to Achyut Kuinkel, spokesperson for the apex court, the delegation includes Supreme Court Justice Hari Prasad Phuyal, among others.
“Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut is participating in a court visit programme from April 6 to April 10, when he will visit India’s Supreme Court and other judicial institutions,” a statement issued by Kuinkel said. He is accompanied by Supreme Court Justice Hari Prasad Phuyal, Chief Registrar Devendra Raj Dhakal, Registrar Bimal Paudel, and Deputy Registrar Naveen Kumar Yadav.
Earlier, then-Chief Justice of India Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud had visited Nepal in May 2024 at the invitation of Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha.
