RSP central member Thapa taken into custody in USA
Thapa's arrest might result in a setback for the party if it lasts long, as he had been actively promoting RSP and its agenda in USA and Europe.

Mohan Thapa, a central committee member of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been taken into custody by US immigration authorities. The party confirmed the development earlier on Sunday.
RSP leader Manish Jha confirmed that Thapa is currently being held by US immigration officials. “We have received information that our central committee member Mohan Thapa is in US immigration custody,” Jha stated.
Furthermore, Jha revealed that Thapa had previously submitted a formal request to step down from his responsibilities as a central committee member.
“Mohan Thapa had already informed the party that he needed to resolve some personal legal issues. Until these issues are settled, he has requested to step down temporarily from his position within the central committee,” Jha added.
Thapa’s arrest might result in a setback for the party if it lasts long, as he had been actively promoting RSP and its agenda in USA and Europe.
