President Paudel and Vice President Yadav visit Pashupatinath for prayers
The President and Vice President were welcomed by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey.

President Ramchandra Paudel and Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav visited the Pashupatinath Temple for prayers. It is customary for the head of state to visit the temple on the occasion of Mahashivaratri for years.
Upon their arrival at the temple, they were welcomed by Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey, along with the Secretary of the Pashupati Area Development Trust, Milan Kumar Thapa, among others.
Following the traditional procedure, President Paudel performed puja. He was presented with flowers and prasad by Ganesh Bhatta, the main priest of Pashupatinath temple. Accompanying him was his wife, Sabita Paudel.
