NICCI holds 11th annual general meeting in Kathmandu
The AGM recognised those who have advanced Nepal-Italy economic ties, with Shrestha and Pandey receiving tokens of appreciation, and Ashank SJB Rana being named Member of the Year 2024.
The Nepal-Italy Chamber of Commerce & Industries (NICCI) successfully hosted its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Kathmandu, emphasising its commitment to strengthening business relations, boosting tourism, and encouraging investment between Nepal and Italy.
The event was attended by key figures, including Patron Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, President Sanjay Agrawal, Honorary Consul for Italy Pratima Pandey, and other NICCI members.
General Secretary Manoj Shrestha Bhadel opened the event, expressing gratitude for Italy’s significant contributions to Nepal’s heritage, especially during reconstruction efforts.

President Agrawal highlighted the longstanding consular relations between the two countries, noting NICCI’s role in fostering trade, attracting investment, and promoting Italian tourism in Nepal. Italy has provided crucial support, particularly after Nepal's transition to democracy and the 2015 earthquake.
NICCI remains focused on promoting bilateral trade and tourism, marking another milestone in its efforts to strengthen Nepal-Italy relations.
