Nepal and Oman sign MoU on diplomatic studies and training

Nepal and Oman have taken further steps towards strengthening bilateral relations by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation in the fields of diplomatic studies and training.
Foreign Minister Deuba, who is in Oman to take part in the 8th Indian Ocean Conference, on Monday held a conversation with her Omani counterpart, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, where they discussed ways to enhance diplomacy and cooperation across various sectors.

“We reviewed the gamut of Nepal-Oman ties, discussing ways to strengthen diplomacy and enhance cooperation across fields,” Minister Deuba wrote on X after meeting Albusaidi.
During the discussion, Deuba also requested the establishment of an Omani embassy in Nepal and the resumption of direct flights between Oman and Kathmandu, emphasising that these steps would further facilitate the growth of bilateral ties.
