A 24-year-old woman and her two-year-old daughter were found dead inside their home in ward 11 of Godawari Municipality, Kailali, on Thursday evening.

According to the Area Police Office in Malakheti, the cause of death of Mira Kami and her daughter remains unknown.

Mira’s husband and father-in-law are in India for work, while her mother-in-law and a younger brother-in-law, aged around 13 years, were at home last night.

The bodies have been sent to Seti Provincial Hospital for post-mortem, and police are investigating the incident.
