NOC increases petrol price, reduces diesel and kerosene price by Rs2 per litre

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a revision in fuel prices, increasing the price of petrol while reducing the prices of diesel and kerosene, effective from midnight on Sunday.
The NOC board meeting decided to increase petrol prices by Rs2 per litre, while diesel and kerosene prices have been reduced by Rs2 per litre.
Under the revised pricing, petrol will now cost Rs159.50 per litre in Charaali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj (classified as first-category locations). The price rises to Rs161 per litre in Surkhet and Dang (second category) and Rs162 per litre in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal (third category).
Diesel and kerosene are priced at Rs148.50 per litre in first-category locations, Rs150 per litre in second-category locations, and Rs151 per litre in third-category locations.
The new retail prices apply within a 15-kilometre radius of the respective depots.
