Finland’s Minister for Foreign Trade and Development calls on Prime Minister Oli

Visiting Foreign Trade and Development Minister of Finland Ville Tavio paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday.
During the meeting, they discussed various aspects of bilateral relations and mutual cooperation.
According to Prime Minister Oli’s secretariat, Minister Tavio expressed Finland’s readiness to enhance support in key sectors such as hydropower, waste management, and infrastructure development in Nepal.
Prime Minister Oli extended his gratitude to Finland for its continued assistance in Nepal’s development efforts.
Tavio’s visit marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Finland, highlighting the longstanding partnership between the two nations.
The meeting was attended by Finland’s Ambassador to Nepal, Riina-Riikka Heikka and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal.
