Death toll in Chitwan road crash rises to five

The death toll in a road accident at ward 29 of the Bharatpur Metropolitan City along the Narayanghat-Mugling road reached five on Friday afternoon after an injured person succumbed to injuries.
The accident occurred at around 3am today when the microbus collided with a bus.
The deceased are the microbus driver, Anoj Adhikari, 39, of Khairahani Municipality-4, Raj Kumar Sah,36, of India, and Raj Bahadur Gurung, 42, of Gorkha. Likewise, Santosh Bhusal, 35, and Sabina Bhusal, 33, of Binayi Tribeni Rural Municipality-4 in Nawalparasi East, also died in the accident, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bheshraj Rijal, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Chitwan.
One seriously injured person is receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College Teaching Hospital. All casualties, including the injured, were travelling in the microbus.
