The government has decided to extend the tenure of 11 honorary consuls and consul generals, including of Slovenia, for another four years.
A Cabinet meeting held on Thursday took the decision, according to Minister for Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung, who is also the government’s spokesperson.
Making the Cabinet’s decisions public, Minister Gurung said the meeting authorised Janak Education Materials Centre Limited to print postage stamps, landowner registration certificates, and visa stickers.
Likewise, the government approved financial assistance of Rs500,000 per family for the kin of Dipsan Sanwa and Princa Sanwa, who were killed in a bomb explosion in Phalelung Rural Municipality-5 in Panchthar district in August.
