A father allegedly killed his son by throwing him off a cliff into a river.
Police said the boy’s body was found in ward 3 of Baglung Municipality.
Keshav Pun, a resident of Tarakhola Rural Municipality, who was living in Baglung Municipality, allegedly threw his six-year-old son, Kismat, into the river from a cliff.
According to Police Inspector Sunil Chiluwal, a rescue team of 11 personnel from the District Police Office, Baglung, recovered the child’s body after receiving information on Wednesday night.
The body was found 200 metres below the cliff, and Pun has been arrested. Police said an investigation into the incident is underway.
