President Paudel authenticates Bill on investment facilitation
The bill amends various provisions of nine Acts.

President Ramchandra Paudel has authenticated the Bill to amend some Nepal acts related to investment facilitation 2024.
The bill passed by both houses of the federal Parliament has been authenticated by President Paudel on Monday in accordance with Article 113 (2) of the constitution, says a statement issued by Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, spokesperson for the Office of the President.
The bill has amended various provisions of the Lands Act, National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act, Land Acquisition Act, Electronic Transactions Act, Special Financial Act, Public Private Partnership and Investment Act, Foreign Investment and Technology Transfer Act, Forest Act and Industrial Enterprises Act to facilitate foreign investment.
On April 23, the government forwarded an ordinance to amend nine Acts to clear legal complexities in a bid to attract investors ahead of the third investment summit. The ordinance was later presented in the Parliament and endorsed by both Houses.
