A five-year-old child died in a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall in Bheri Municipality-5 of Jajarkot district on Sunday night.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Purushottam Prasad Pandey, Ramesh BK and his son were by a landslide that swept away their house.
Ramesh, too sustained an injury and is undergoing treatment at the district hospital, police say.
The other four family members escaped unharmed.
