APF starts repairing broken border pillars

The Armed Police Force (APF) has started repairing border pillars along the Nepal-India border in Sarlahi district.
According to APF superintendent Tul Bahadur Bhandari, they are working to repair and restore broken pillars in the district.
There are a total of 340 pillars along the Nepal-India border in Sarlahi.
A total of 137 pillars are in a sorry state. As per the decision of the Nepal-India joint border monitoring team in 2014, APF is responsible for repairing even-numbered border pillars while its Indian counterpart Seem Suraksha Bal is responsible for repairing odd-numbered pillars.
