A 32-year-old man died of a hornet sting at ward 7 in Bhanu Municipality in Tanahun district.
A number of hornets stung Raj Kumar Tamang of Bhanu-4 while he, along with his friends, attempted to torch a hornet nest in the forest of Ramghatar on Sunday night.
A critically ill Tamang died in the course of treatment at Chitwan Medical College on Monday morning, said police.
Dhan Bahadur Tamang of Bhanu-4 is seriously ill after being stung by hornets. He is receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
