Kantipur Daily journalist Yagya Banjade has been honoured with the Harihar Dev Pant Economic Journalism Award.
Banjade, a senior sub-editor associated with the Post’s sister publication, received the award that carries a purse of Rs50,000 amid a programme in Kathmandu on Thursday. Banjade has been active in economic journalism for over a decade.
The award that was established in memory of the late Pant known as the founding father of microfinance in Nepal is provided annually on September 7 coinciding with his death anniversary to people and organisation contributing to economic journalism in Nepal.
