Janamat Party takes disciplinary action against five leaders including Kushwaha
The leaders were accused of working against the party and leadership.

The Janamat Party has taken action against five leaders including Shiva Chandra Kushwaha on the charge of acting against the party’s policy and leadership.
A meeting of the central disciplinary committee of the party held on Wednesday took action against them.
According to Janamat Party vice-chair Deepak Kumar Sah, who is also the head of the central disciplinary committee, Kushwaha was punished allegedly for breaching party discipline and acting against the party and leadership. He has been stripped of the general membership of the party.
Kushwaha had defected to the Janamat Party from the CPN (Maoist Centre) just ahead of the April by-elections.
Kushwaha, who was defeated by 354 votes against the Janata Samajbadi Party’s candidate Ramsahay Prasad Yadav in the November elections last year, lost to Samajbadi Party chair Upendra Yadav in Bara-2 in the by-polls.
Similarly, Gulab Mandal of Saptari has been suspended as a party member for one year for standing against the party becoming a rebel candidate against the party’s official one in the election of a temple management committee.
Shankar Khadka of Saptari has been suspended as a party member for one year for challenging a candidate of the party in the school management committee election.
Likewise, Bhopendra Yadav of Rupandehi has been suspended for three months for violating the central directives and leading a faction.
According to Deepak Kumar, the party's vice chair and head of the central disciplinary committee, Bhagwandas Yadav of Kapilvastu has been suspended for one year for breaching party discipline during party meetings and activities.
