President Ramchandra Paudel has been discharged from the hospital on Wednesday.

President Paudel was admitted to Bansbari-based Sahid Gangalal National Heart Center on Tuesday morning after he complained of chest pain.

According to the hospital, Paudel was discharged from the hospital after a heart test and 24-hour monitoring by doctors.

Executive Director of the hospital, Chandramani Adhikari informed that President Paudel was discharged after undergoing regular health examination, treatment and 24-hour observation.

In early April, Paudel had been admitted to Maharajgunj-based TU Hospital twice after experiencing abdominal pain and shortness of breath.

He was airlifted to India on April 19 and underwent treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi for 11 days.
