The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Friday arrested a Sub Inspector of Nepal Police with bribe money.

Binod Bista, deployed to Mahottari District Police Office as an accountant, was arrested with Rs50,000 cash and a cheque bearing Rs150,000 from New Baneshwar in Kathmandu.

According to CIAA, Bista had arrived in Kathmandu from Mahottari to receive the bribe money.
