Suresh Chandra Chalise appointed foreign relations advisor to President
The former Nepali ambassador to the US and UK will also look into the president’s secretariat.

Former Ambassador Suresh Chandra Chalise has been appointed foreign relations advisor to President Ram Chandra Paudel.
According to the President’s Office, Chalise, besides advising the president on various matters related to foreign policy and Nepal’s international relations, will also look into the president’s secretariat.
Chalise had earlier served as Nepal’s ambassador to the United States of America and the United Kingdom. He had also served as foreign relations advisor to former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala.
Similarly, Chirinjibi Adhikari has been appointed as personal secretary to Paudel.
