Weather will remain generally clear on Sunday, when the elections for the Parliament and provincial assemblies are taking place across the country.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division, under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, said that light snowfall is likely in some places of the mountainous region of Province 1 and Gandaki Province in the afternoon.
“Light snowfall can occur in some areas of high hills and mountainous regions of province 1 and Gandaki Province,” said Ganga Nagarkoti, a meteorologist at the division. “There is no chance of a change in the weather pattern.”
According to Nagarkoti, districts of Tarai regions will be foggy in the morning but sky will clear in the afternoon.
