Kantipur Publications marked its 28th anniversary on Friday.

The publications this year kept its formal programme brief and with a limited number of staff members because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

On the occasion, the publications honoured 11 employees for their outstanding work throughout the year.

Arjun Poudel, assistant senior sub-editor of the Post, Binu Subedi, assistant senior sub-editor of Kantipur, Elite Joshi, photographer, and Manoj Badu, Darchula district correspondent of Kantipur, were among those honoured with the best employees of the year awards.

Similarly, Sanjeev Kumar Bhujel, junior executive of press in Bharatpur, Santosh Sharma, senior executive of the finance department, Anand Kumar Singh, executive of the marketing department, Rekha Karki, junior executive of the circulation department, Keshav Prasad Parajuli, a delivery boy from the circulation department, Babu Ram Mishra, a security staff member from the general administration, and Jitendra Kumar Yadav, an assistant from the IT department, were the other award recipients from their respective departments.

Kailash Sirohiya, chairman and managing director of Kantipur Publications, handed over the awards and certificates to the winners.

In his brief speech, Sirohiya congratulated the awardees as well as the entire staff members for their hard work amid the pandemic.
