NCP nominates Provincial Committee members

The Central Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has nominated members to Provincial Committees of the seven Provinces.
Earlier on September 21, the party secretariat meeting had appointed chairpersons and secretaries for all province committees. The party, on the same day, had also assigned responsibilities to various leaders as the province in-charge and deputy in-charge.
As per the decision taken on Sunday by the NCP, formed after the merger of CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Centre), 122 from the then CPN-UML and 85 from the CPN (MC) have been nominated as members of Province 1 committee.
Likewise, 106 each members from both factions have been nominated members for Province 2 committee, while 116 from then UML and 101 from CPN (MC) have been nominated as the Provincial Committee members from Province 3.
Similarly, in Gandaki Province committee, the party has nominated 102 members from UML and 85 from CPN (MC) while 106 leaders from erstwhile UML and 97 from the then CPN (MC) have been nominated as province 5 committee members.
For Karnali Province committee members, the party has nominated 87 from UML and 88 from CPN (MC) and for Sudurpaschim Province committee 100 from UML and 83 from CPN (MC) have been nominated.
