Chief Specialist at the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) Dr Sushil Nath Pyakurel has been appointed as the Acting Secretary of the MoHP.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population Upendra Yadavon Sunday had appointed 12^th rank Chief Specialist Pyakurel to look after finance and administration of the ministry.

DrPyakurel said that he has been working for the improvement of health sector and it will be continued in the coming days also.

The post had been lying vacant after the government recalled Pushpa Chaudhary to the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) on October 24.

She was transferred to the OPMCM at the direction of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
