Two-month salary to landslide victims

Provincial Assembly member of Nuwakot district, Badri Mainali, has provided Rs 90,000, his two-month salary, to two landslide victim families of the district.
Mainali provided Rs 45,000 each to the family of Kumar Shahi and Naba bahadur Shrestha of Suryagadhi Rural Municipality-2. All the properties of both families were damaged after landslide buried their houses on June 17.
Mainali, Provincial Assembly Member from Nuwakot-1 (B), reached the temporary shelter of Shrestha and Shahi and handed over the cheque equivalent to the amount to the families.
He said that he provided the financial assistance as per the commitment to spend some amount of his salary to social activities.
