11 hurt as bus hits parked truck

At least 11 people were injured when a bus collided with a parked truck on Monday morning at Nau Thumsi of Gaidakot municipality of Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway. Among the injured, two are said to be in critical condition.
The passenger bus (Lu 2 Kha 379) en route to Bhairahawa from Kathmandu hit the truck (Lu 1 Kha 8113) bound to Bhairahawa from Narayangadh at 5 am. The truck was parked on the roadside.
Those severely hurt are Ramkisan Chamar, 40, of Susta, Nawalparasi; and Dilip Chaudhary, 32, of Bardghat-3, the District Police Office Nawalparsai East said. The injured are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Bharatpur, Chitwan. RSS
