A woman was force-fed faeces by her neighbours when she confronted them after their cattle destroyed her crops in Udayapur district on Tuesday. The 75-year-old resident of at Udayapurgadhi Rural Municipality-5 said Bakte Rai, his wife Garbhi and their son Dev Bahadur assaulted her and forced her to eat faeces after she complained to them about their stray cattle eating the crops in her field.
The victim also suffered injuries in her right eye and other regions of her body. She is undergoing treatment at Udayapur District Hospital. Police Inspector Lalan Prasad Raut Kurmi of District Police Office said the concerned police station has been instructed to detain the accused couple and their son for investigation.
