Police have arrested Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City ward no 9 chairman Parmeshwor Sah and his family members after they refused to let the authorities demolish their illegally constructed house, for road expansion.
According to the police, Chairman Sah was arrested following a request from the Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City. The arrestees are being held at District Police Office as of now.
The police said that they had to arrest Chairman Sah as he had been refusing to demolish the house despite the authorities pleading with him multiple times to do so.
