A Taiwan citizen has died of altitude sickness in Solukhumbu on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Chenari Chang.
Chang, who was on a Mount Everest Base Camp tour, was found dead on Thursday evening at a hotel in Khumbhu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-4 where he had been staying, said DSP Udaya Prasad Kattel.
Chang, in his mid 40s, arrived in Nepal on September 29. His body would be airlifted to Kathmandu for postmortem after completing due legal process, Kattel said. RSS
