Two persons died and 32 others were injured in a bus-truck collision at Kawasoti-16, Nawalparasi on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as bus driver Suraj BK, 23, of Kohalpur Municipality-4, Banke and Laxman Tharu, 24, of Kapilvastu.
Of the injured, the condition of 11 is said to be critical. They are undergoing treatment in Bharatpur while others have been admitted to various hospitals in Kawasoti, police said.
The incident occurred when the bus (Na 7 Kha 5629) heading to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj collided head-on with the truck (Na 6 Kha 7719) at around 3:30 am today, the District Police Office, Nawalparasi said. RSS
