A man who was on the run after murdering his spouse at Khudikhola squatters settlement in Pokhara Metropolitan City-32 has been arrested on Thursday.
District Police Office, Kaski with the assistance of Federal Police Unit arrested Yan Bahadur Gurung, 55, who was absconding after he killed his paralytic wife Shree Maya Gurung, 60, on Wednesday night at their home.
Yan Bahadur fled his home after informing his neighbour about the crime that he committed, said Kaski Police Chief Om Rana.
Police held Yan Bahadur from Dhanbari in the district. Yan Bahadur had put the body of his deceased wife inside a sack and thrown it away at some distance from his house.
