An unidentified group hurled a Molotov cocktail at a truck being escorted by the police at Banbasa forest area in Shiba Raj Municipality-1 of Kapilvastu district along the east-west highway on Tuesday.
According to the police, the petrol bomb was hurled at the truck (Na 5 Kha 4922) en route to Chandrauta from Dhankhola near the Kapilvastu border at around 9 am.
Ward Police Office, Chandrauta said the truck has sustained minor damage at the driver’s side in the incident.
Inspector Maheshwor Upadhyay said that the police are searching for the perpetrators involved in the incident.
