A newborn died when a landslide buried a section of a house at Kedarsyu Rural Municipality in Bajhang district.

One-month-old Alish Bista, son of Makat Bista in Ratandhunga, died when the two-storey concrete house was buried by the landslide. Two others, Sangita Bista, 4, and Dhauli Bista, 2, were injured in the landslide. The injured have been rescued and handed over to their family.

Fifteen persons have died in various landslides at different parts of Bajhang district since Baisakh.
