At least three people were killed after a container truck fell into Yangyang River in Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-5 on Tuesday. Another one was injured in the incident.

According to the police, the container truck (Na 6 Kha 4929), en route to Rasuwagadi from Dhunche with four people onboard, fell some 30 metres down the road. The injured has been rescued from the accident site.

Chief District Officer of Rasuwa, Krishna Poudel informed that the identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained. CDO Poudel further informed that a medical team has been sent to the place of the incident.
